At this year’s Ball, phenomenal community leaders who have made a tremendous in the Caribbean Diaspora were recognized - Emmy-award, and NAACP-award winning celebrity, Joy Reid, received the Stalwart Award and a congratulatory gift of CariBeat’s Signature Cocktail beverages; Master Steelpannist Dr. Lennard Jack, received the Signature Award; and Prince George’s County Assistant Chief Administrator for Government Operations Chris Osuji, received the Community Award. The evening was made even more enjoyable with the music of renowned Soca-Reggae Band, Image Band’s performance and music by DJ Paul Mack.
